Transat quickly built a highly respected reputation as a specialist in sailboat rigging and hardware. In 2005, Transat was acquired by Western Marine, which began the expansion of its product offerings to include more brands and many powerboat-oriented items. Transat Marine brings many high-quality sailing and power boat lines and great expertise closer to our dealer customers in central Canada and the Maritime provinces. Western Marine & Transat Marine are distributors of marine parts and accessories serving wholesale customers throughout Canada. Carrying an extensive inventory of over 58,000 items from more than 450+ manufacturers from around the world. We supply to both the commercial and recreational marine sectors. Selling primarily to businesses actively involved in the marine industry, which have established an account with Western or Transat Marine. Our customers include Towing Companies, Shipyards, Boat Builders, Boat Dealers, Retail Accessory Dealers, Houseboat Operators, and the Commercial Fishing Fleet.
