In 1980, Riverdale Mills invented Aquamesh®, the industry-standard wire mesh fabric specifically engineered to withstand the harshest subsea conditions.

Aquamesh is built from premium steel and hot-dip galvanized after welding, applying a thick layer of zinc that surrounds each weld to maximize durability and prevent corrosion. The wire is then coated with Riverdale’s proprietary marine-grade PVC, which is fuse-bonded to the metal. This protective layer prevents peeling, cracking, and stripping in saltwater, significantly reducing the need for costly repairs or replacements.

For decades, fishermen have trusted Aquamesh above all other wire mesh.
