North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show Previous Years Successful Event
St. John’s, NL – The North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show, Canada's premier commercial marine event, has concluded its latest edition at the Mary Brown's Centre, leaving a wake of success and industry camaraderie.
“This year’s show buzzed with a lively atmosphere as exhibitors and attendees came together to discuss industry news and showcase new products and tech.” said Shawn Murphy, Show Manager.
The two-day event, held on November 17 - 18, 2023, brought together a diverse array of industry members, from seasoned professionals to emerging businesses, creating a vibrant atmosphere of networking and knowledge exchange. Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, discover innovative products, and engage with industry leaders.
“This edition of the North Atlantic Fish and Workboat Show was one of the best we’ve had”, says Bais Blois from Blois Automation Ltd. “We now have four very promising projects to quote on”.
“Master Promotions nails it every time with the North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show. The turnout was fantastic, generating numerous quote requests and a successful generator sale.” said Ashley Wallis from Genrep. “Thanks, Master Promotions – see you in Moncton!”
A ceremony honoring this year's Atlantic Canada Marine Hall of Fame inductees also took place at the show. This year’s inductees are:
- Derrick Jackson, Jackson’s Shipyard – Builder Category
- Tom Best, Petty Harbour Co-op – Mariner Category
- Martin Sullivan, Ocean Choice – Processor Category
These well deserving individuals were awarded by the Honourable Elvis Loveless, Minister of Fisheries, Forestry, and Agriculture in Newfoundland and Labrador, who also delivered an inspiring speech during the ceremony.
On Friday night, a lively reception was held at the Delta, where guests socialized and danced the night away to the tunes of Celtic Connections. A special thanks to Navigator Magazine and TriNav Group of Companies for hosting and arranging this memorable event.
A big thanks to our generous sponsors as well, including Genrep, Jackfield, North Atlantic Supplies, Osborne Propellers, Spartan Industrial Marine, and our presenting partner, The Navigator.
